To address the complexity of the health care delivery system and the ongoing demands of providers and patients, the North American Spine Society (NASS) developed credible and reasonable coverage recommendations to advocate and promote fair coverage decisions for spine care patients like you.
In May 2014, after more than a year of rigorous scientific literature review, drafting and editing, NASS approved its first set of coverage recommendations. NASS recently published 13 coverage recommendations with a plan to publish more in the coming months.
